This Friday @ The Magoski Arts Colony

This Friday, February 7th, is the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk.  Here's what you can see at the Magoski Arts Colony…

At Hibbleton Gallery, it's a group show called WORD PLAY: the art of text, featuring work by Ali Kilian,  Jonathan Juliani, Mark Mendez, Devin Wais, John Sollom, Brian Prince, Amanda Reeves, Nancy Johnson, Esther Jacks, and Anna Hansen.

In conjunction with this show, BOOKMACHINE books + zines (right next to Hibbleton) will feature an accompanying exhibit entitled WORDS, WORDS, WORDS, featuring art + text by artists from the Magoski Arts Colony, such as Patrick Nguyen, Ricardo Gonsalves, Michael Magoski, and more!

The Egan Gallery presents “Divergency”, the art of Adam Watts.  If you have not seen the work of artist Adam Watts at his own gallery, Internal Gallery and Oddities, please prepare to have your mind blown when you visit the Egan on the 7th. Adam’s turn of the century assemblage pieces incorporate everything from mannequin parts, the skeletal remains of possums and other animals, old school surgical equipment and Edison filament lighting.

At Violethour Studio, come see the paintings and mixed media pieces of Candace Magoski and Mayra Bryan, in a show entitled "Turpentine Kisses."

In The Cave, come see the photography of Michael Magoski in a silent auction fundraiser for our friend Steve Elkins, who is leaving for Siberia in March to work on his latest documentary.  On Februrary 21st, we will hold a special screening of Steve's first film, The Reach of Resonance.  Tickets are $20 in advance or, if you purchase one of Mike's pieces, you get a ticket.  Come support independent cinema!

Valerie Lewis and Leanne Sergeant studios present a sexy Valentine's Day show entitled "XXXO: Valentine Erotica."

In The Neighborhood (formerly known as PAS Gallery) come see an exhibit called "The Lyrical Muse" featuring the paintings of Melinda Hagman, set to music that inspired them.

This Friday, you can see and experience all this and more at The Magoski Arts Colony.  The Downtown Fullerton Art Walk is from 6-10pm and is FREE and open to the public.  Hope to see you there!
