Friends of Coyote Hills Walk-a-Thon!

One of the most important local environmental issues in Fullerton is the effort to save Coyote Hills from development by the Chevron Corporation.  Tomorrow, you can be a part of the effort to save this beautiful land by participating in the 2013 Friends of Coyote Hills Walk-a-Thon!  Where and when is this wonderful event, you ask?  Here are the deets:

Location: Fullerton Equestrian Center, 2900 Lakeview Way in Fullerton, California - off Euclid, between Bastanchury Road and Imperial Highway

Time: 9am-12pm (Check-in begins at 8:15am, Prizes/Awards at 11am)

Description: This family friendly event features an easy 5K hike along the Fullerton Trails! Walk follows with a free festival celebrating the environment. Enjoy educational booths for children, prizes, giveaways, games, and booths featuring local businesses and organizations! All proceeds go to further efforts to preserve Coyote Hills as a park for all to enjoy.


How Much: $15 bucks

Special educational activities for children along the walking path to learn about the plants/animals/ecosystem in our area!
