Come Support the Art Walk Tonight at the Fullerton City Council Meeting

Tonight, at the Fullerton City Council meeting, I will be giving a presentation about the two-year anniversary of the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk. On Friday, March 2, the art walk venues will be gathering in the Fullerton Museum Plaza for a massive event celebrating art and community. There will be live art, music, beer, dance, theater, and real community.



Tonight's city council meeting is a particularly important one. There is a lot on the agenda. The results of an inquiry into the Fullerton police department's handling of the Kelly Thomas death will be presented. The results of the Fullerton Recall petition will be presented. Also, the Occupy OC folks will be presenting their agenda.

This meeting is sure to be an emotional and contentious one. Fullerton has had a lot on its plate the past year. I feel fortunate to be presenting something as positive and affirming as the Art Walk Anniversary. Come show your support of the arts in Fullerton tonight. The meeting starts at 6:30pm. I will be giving my presentation toward the beginning.
