I am very excited for the upcoming release of the film
Cesar Chavez, about the Mexican American civil rights leader. It wasn't until after college, as an adult, that I came to appreciate what an amazing and inspiring person Cesear Chavez was. There is a great PBS documentary about him called
"The Struggle in the Fields." But this new film is a drama, and it looks fantastic. I hope it has the kind of impact "Milk" had in 2008--teaching a new generation about a civil rights hero who is not widely understood. Today, I was looking at the movie's Facebook page, and came across some amazing posters for the movie that I thought were worth sharing:
