Star Wars Haikus and Drawings!

One of my favorite things about going to Mulberry St. in downtown Fullerton is bartender Kevin Malone.  Kevin, like me, is a total nerd for sci-fi and super heroes.  A couple nights ago, Kevin and I started drawing tiny Star Wars characters on a paper place mat.  Another patron named Stephanie got into our conversation and we all decided to write haikus inspired by Star Wars Episodes I-6.  Here are our haikus (with drawings):

Episode I: The Phantom Menace

The planet Naboo
Is where the dark Emperor
begins his dark plot

Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Clouded the Force is.
The clones of Kamino
march on towards war.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Oh, poor Anakin.
You were led towards the Dark Side.
But…there are your twins.

Episode IV: A New Hope

In a land far away,
behold prophecies foretold.
The Skywalker lives.

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

On the planet Hoth,
the rebellion for freedom
fights back!  Han is good.

Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi

A rebuilt Death Star.
The forest moon of Endor.
Ewok's celebrate.  (Yub!  Yub!)
