Today I learned about a famous Latino journalist named Ruben Salazar, who was killed in 1970 by an LA County Sheriff's deputy. Salazar was one of the first mainstream reporters to write from the perspective of Latinos, and about the Chicano movement. Here's an informative video about Salazar.
