"Homeless Humans" @ BOOKMACHINE books + zines

This Friday, during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk, BOOKMACHINE books + zines presents a new exhibit entitled "Homeless Humans" featuring photography by Josue Rivas.  Josue's photographs capture the humanity of Fullerton's local homeless population, defying stereotypes and urging the viewer to see homeless people as human beings with dignity, worthy of respect and understanding.  His work is meant to provoke honest dialogue about the important and complex issue of homelessness in Orange County.  All proceeds from the show will be donated to Pathways of Hope, a local nonprofit which offers services to our homeless population.  Here's a preview of some of Josue's work:

The opening reception is Friday, February 1st from 6-10 pm, during the Downtown Fullerton Art Walk.
