Camelot!

Today I went to Camelot with my friends Landon and Brock.  Camelot is a big Medieval-themed arcade/mini golf/lazer tag/pizza parlor/waterslide fun center in Anaheim.  It's probably been a good 15 years since I've been to Camelot.  It was a blast!

We started off with some pizza that was not particularly flavorful but was LOADED with cheese.  I asked the girl at the counter if she would announce "Sir Landon, your pizza's ready" when our pizza was ready, and she did!

Next we hit the lynx and played some mini golf.  At Camelot, you can choose between four different courses.  We chose the "Golden Orient" course, which was classified as "hard".

Landon's ball got stuck inside Fort Courage.

Brock makes a difficult shot up the dreaded "anthill".  I won the mini golf round, probably because I am a recreational golfer, and am more experienced with putting.

After golf, we played a round of Lazer Joust.  Landon won that game, and I got last.  Instead of hiding, my strategy was just to wander aimlessly around, a strategy which proved unsuccessful.

Next we hit the arcade.  I must admit, I was a little sad that many of the original/old school arcade games that I remember from my childhood had been replaced with more modern "drivin" and "shootin" games.  I was really looking forward to playing "Altered Beast" and "Rampage" but neither of these games are there anymore.  C'est la vie.

However, tucked away upstairs was the original Pac Man game.

All in all, it was a fun afternoon.  I'm looking forward to going again soon with my friend Kevin Malone.
