I am not comedy actor Zach Galifianakis.

Dear general public,

I just wanted to go ahead and set the record straight that I am not, in fact, comedy actor Zach Galifianakis.  Almost every day, I will be walking around, or reading at a coffee shop, and complete strangers will feel compelled to either say or yell things like:

"Alan!" (from The Hangover)

"Zach Galifianikis!"

"Dude, it's that dude from The Hangover!"

Just last week, I was walking across the Fullerton College campus, and a group of young men began actually singing aloud the song from the Hangover, "We're the three best friends that anybody could have."

My father, Jac La Tour, can vouch that his son is not comedy actor Zach Galifianiks.  "My son has a beard and a roundish face, but he is not Zach Galifianakis.  He can be funny sometimes, but he is not a professional comedian.  He is an English teacher.  I named him Jesse La Tour," La Tour said in a recent interview.

While I acknowledge some similarities in appearance between myself and the aforementioned actor, I am not, in reality, that person.  My name is Jesse La Tour.  I not a comedy actor.  I am an English teacher.

Please, try to keep that in mind next time you feel compelled to yell at me in public.

Sincerely,

Jesse La Tour

This is what I, Jesse La Tour, look like.

This is what comedy actor Zach Galifianakis looks like.  He is an entirely different person.
